2022 Is seeing an increase in Wedding Party enquiries!
These are parties for weddings that have already taken place during the lockdown, albeit only with a small handful of close family guests.
Surprisingly not uncommon, as many couples do who have elected to marry abroad. Returning to the UK to then celebrate with a larger group of family and friends.
So to now are Lockdown Couples as we they’re becoming known.
Brilliant Idea
For a lot of couple the ‘big day’ they always dreamed of couldn’t go ahead as they had originally planned, while some managed to re-arrange dates into the future, many couldn’t for various personal reasons.
This has therefore started an increase in the ‘Wedding Party’ booking as things return to normal.
One additional benefit being they are a lot less stressful for the couple to arrange. A wedding is a stressful thing to organise no matter what size, where as a party is much more straight forward. And whilst many like to include the dresses or suits they had worn, cake & first dance to get into the occasion of the event, others see it as a more relaxing, less formal celebration.
Though the cake & first dance almost always are included.
