Billy & Urv
Saturday afternoon saw us in the gorgeous Hydro Hotel in Peebles. This hotel could have been straight out of the pages of an Agatha Christie novel, I half expected Poirot or Miss Marple to appear at any moment!
The trip on the way up was fantastic, the weather could not have been better and the views equalled our own delights here in the Lake District. Added to that the wondrous colour of Autumn, you get the picture. The scene from the hotel lounge was equally as stunning, but sadly my camera phone wasn’t up to the occasion. The same can’t be said for the journey home, we’d hope to see one or two fireworks but the fog put paid to that!
